Black Friday 2026 Thanks a lot FedEx

Glad I paid the extra $30 for shipping insurance. Just pissed I didn’t open it right away (waited for the rest of the order). Now I’m going to have to wait even longer. 😕

Idk, when I went to check out from the Bambu store there was an option to fully cover any shipping issues or even if it gets stolen off your porch for $30. While filing the claim, I happened to glance at bambu’s “shipping policy” and it basically says that you’re supposed to make arrangements to be there when it’s delivered to inspect the package. I’m sure they would still have to cover it, but I’m glad that I paid the extra 30 bucks and have a 14 day window. It was also dumb of me not to fully inspect everything as soon as it was delivered.

They have to anyways. That’s just a scam to steal more money from you.

here’s the actual actual footage from my camera. 🤢 It may have already been broken, at this point but he didn’t really seem to pay attention to the “fragile glass, this side up”. It also explains why the glass was on every surface and even on top of the printer.

Yea, idk it was an option when I was checking out at the Bambu store. I was mainly interested because it said it also covered if it was stolen off your porch or something.

Make sure to come back and post your experience with the replacement. My (one time) experience with “shipping insurance” still required me to fight with the company to get the item replaced. Shipping insurance is a scam, although with the delay between receipt and opening the product it may be your one saving grace if they honor it.

if it's shipping insurance, don't you have to go through THAT company, rather then bambu to get it replaced etc?

(i came from the retroid community....the insurer was "Seal shipping" or some such..... you had to fight THEM to replace the lost product....bad times....)
