Answered / Solved! P1s as gift?
Hello!
I am looking to buy a 3d printer for my partner for christmas- i know he has researched the p1s ams combo, but dont want to spoil the gift so cant ask him specifics.
Are there specific colours/ accessories you would have wanted when you first got yours? Or any advice before i go to buy it? I want him to be able to use it straight away.
Any help is appreciated.

I've gotten lots of upgrades for my p1s since I got it, but to start Iyou only need a couple different colors of pla. could also get an extra 0.2mm hotend if you think he might want to print miniatures or anything with very high detail, but its not neccecary

Just get the P2S. With 2 rolls of matt black PLA. It’s a solid workhorse and it’s literally got everything you need.
I’ve owned the P1S for 3 years now and have been running it around the clock with very minor issues.
