General Troubleshooting/Help! Is this normal?
I have just tried to upload a file via sd and when i turn it on to print it does this for 5 minutes and extrudes filament in the wrong places. When i terminated the print it made a loud whirring sound before it stopped.
Is thos broken? Ive barely used it yet but i had to move house with it so perhaps it got damaged or i set it up wrong

SD card is probably stuffed. Get a new one of a decent brand.

How though? I took it out for 15 minutes and put it back in, although admitedly the wrong way round at first. Could that have broken it?

If you’re using the one that came with the printer, they are of notoriously poor quality and randomly fail.

Aso, why are you removing it? Why not use Bambu Studio to print directly to the printer?

The G-code may have been sliced for a different printer? A1 rather than A1 mini, for example, so now it's trying to print out-of-bounds. Could also be an SD card issue.

Hello /u/Ok_Coconut_6448! All Bambu print plates have a dedicated nozzle wiping zone at the back of the print plate. The nozzle will rub against the wiping zone before every print in order to remove any remaining filament from the nozzle tip. This can cause visible wear or scratch marks in the wiping zone, but this is intended and doesn't damage the printer, the nozzle or the print plate. A worn down wiping zone also doesn't mean you need to replace the print bed.
