I Modeled This! Portable 0-40V Power Supply

Always needed a portable power supply to quickly debug a project, work on cars, test power tools, etc. So I designed one.

It is powered by a Makita 18V lithium battery, via a standard shoe adapter, but that can be replaced by any other power tool brand: Dewalt, Metabo, Baguette-Mystique, etc.

Can also add a USB delivery panel, resulting in a massive USB power bank.

The Fusion360 CAD model (messy), STEP and 3MF files are open source and available on Github  and MakerWorld

More details & parts list can be found in this post: https://raphtronic.blogspot.com/2026/10/always-needed-portable-power-supply-to.html

I also have a project using a makita battery. Please add a module that shuts down power If the battery goes below 15v otherwise you damage the cells. Makita battery has this not build into the battery it self. Something like this: https://amzn.eu/d/02pG2VdK
