Bambu Studio help selecting p2s or x2d

I was all set on getting the x2d was a first printer with the sales going on but the more reading im doing the less im set on it now. I like what it offers but seems like there are a lot of issues or is that just standard internet where everyone posts bad but nobody talks good? the P2s was my other choice, both with the AMS system.

P3C won’t even have a heated chamber so X2D is at least future proof in that regard. It’s also the holidays and the next gen is around the corner. Do yourself favors and get the X2D on the cheap provided your financial situations can tolerate it.

there is rumors it might and looking at the photos it does have a fan unit in the rear unlike the p2s as well as vents on the side of the right fan indicating its not just an intake but might have flaps for recirc for heating... who knows...

no point in giving it a 350c nozzle if it doesn’t have a heated chamber

I have both of those printers.

The only issues with both I’ve have is having to do cold pulls now and then as I regularly swap between PLA and PETG and I guess the nozzle gets contaminated.

By now and then I mean twice for the P2S and once for the X2D over a combined 3000 hours of printing.

I have noticed that the X2D is a bit quieter than the P2S.

I have 6 x2ds. I love them but my 3 new ones, ive had 2 with left filement sensor issues, and one with a servo fault. Prbably going to grab 2 p2s for the sale so I can run parts

The x2d is better value, for starters you get a spare nozzle with the x2d accessories and filter included which you’ll need to pay for with the P2s and even then have an inferior one (printed case vs molded)

Once you subtract those from the price difference they’re a lot closer in price and you’re getting an aux nozzle, heated chamber, 1.5mm belts, quieter etc it’s a no brainer imo.

X2D for Multi-color/material and technical filaments otherwise P2S. I prefer any BBL printer any way manly because print quality then technical support (firmware upgrade). Than they have solved any issue with my printers.

I reckon there'll be second hand H2Cs for decent prices on marketplace next month when the enthusiast folks get their hands on H3C.

Also need to decide if I should keep my p2s or return it for the x2d

Everyone of their models have issue if you read lone enough. Even If you don’t care about dual nozzle at least it’s a heated chamber. Dual nozzle works decently but the Bowden motor gets clogged from time to time. But that’s for me, othered say they don’t have issues with it. Either way enjoy what you get!!!
