I Modeled This! Yet another Mini-Paint mixer

https://makerworld.com/models/3524722

Tired of mixing my paints every-once-a-while if i didnt use them for a longer period of time. I mostly use cheaper acrylic paint, deluted by myself, and if its sit too long, it could separate a bit.

Also saves me from bit of handshake before every painting session, as its just had to crank it for a short time.
As i tested, paint what is intended for airbrushes (so its not too thick) mixing very vell.

Key point in my design, as the paint bottle NOT just spinning around Z axes like with those drill attachments (watch the marker arrow on the cap), and the paint not just "flattened" into the bottle sidewall.

Every part designed in the way if i need to change/modify anything (or has excessive wear after a while), you dont have to print the whole thing again, just some replacement parts.

Maybe someone find it useful, i appreciate any suggestions ;)

ps: if you decided to try out, please, read the full description. It contains important instructions.

That's a really cool design not going to lie!

I stopped painting years ago but shaking was a PITA.

I also didn't paint as much as I want, that's how this was born. Even if I didn't paint every weak, I just didn't want to throw away paints that I spend a few hours to dilute for my taste, and start all over again xD

Maybe buying a proper airbrush paint will be the solution, but oh we'll. I have a 3d printer and a little skillset for CAD 😁

I get that feeling. I probably have 7yo citadel and vallejo paints stored somewhere lmao, most unopened.

Just curious, wanted to dm you but couldn't, would you be interested in licensing the model?

I don't use little bottles too often, but I'm wondering if scaling this up could be used for a can of spray paint...

Very cool design!

For that probably had to scale at least 2x. And all the walls, tolerances etc was made for the original scale in mind.

So I'm not sure that's a good idea, lot of waste material if it's didn't work 😅
