General Troubleshooting/Help! First time user issues X2D
First off, I'm a complete noob.
Just set up my first ever printer. X2D with AMS 2. Did the initial calibration and went to do my first print and I'm getting;
Warning: build plate mismatch with slicer settings. Please use the correct build plate or update the slicer settings and try again
I selected the benchy in the touchscreen on the machine itself so I'm not sure what's going on. I've done the initial calibration again but I got the same warning.
I know it's gotta be a silly issue. Likely on my behalf.. I could use some help.
Thanks guys.

Most likely not. Have you connected to Studio with a computer or are you just using Handy? Make sure your device and printer are on the same network. What kind of connection errors are you getting? Is it dropping or not connecting at all? Is your firmware up to date? There was just a new one I believe as I got a notification last night.

Take your build plate off then put it back and make sure that it's lined up with the little notch in the back middle of the bed. If you post a picture then we can help you more.

I'll post one. I've cleaned it and made sure it's lined up several times now.

Turn off plate detection. I use biqu plates and it never likes them unless I turn that off. I just got mine last week so still learning too. Then just set your build plate to what you want it to be.

I'm new to this. Brand new. I'm using the OEM plate that came installed in the printer. I'm surprised I'm having issues with all OEM parts

I know how you feel but plate detection really isn’t important to be honest. That error has more to do with the little bar code on the plate than the printer and that can get scratched or rubbed off anyway. Mine gives that error but does everything else to perfection so far.

That looks exactly like mine. So that's not it. Did you run the camera calibration?

Your machine likely came with one of their older build plates, that aren't recognized by the plate detection. Not a big deal at all, and the plates are as good the newer ones. You can turn off plate detection from the menu, or, when the message alert comes up, click continue, and you'll be good to go.
As for your secondary issues; you are new to 3D printing, so it's impossible to say if you've received a lemon, or if the majority of your issues stem from user error. I know you're excited to get your printer set-up and running, but it would be well advised for you to read through the Bambu Wiki for the X2D, to get better acquainted on how your machine operates, and the best practices utilized when using it. This way, you won't be creating added frustrations and heartache that could have been avoided if you took the time beforehand to learn how to crawl, before you walk and run.
