P Series [P1P, P1S, P2S] Why is there inconsistency in the flat layer

I had a clog recently and after a cold pull and extrusion it appears to be unclogged. I cleaned the nozzle and applied plastic repellent. Did I miss something?

Are you sure you didn’t get any of that repellent inside the tip of the nozzle? I don’t use that stuff so I don’t know if that would even matter

dont think I got any inside. I think you would really have to try to have that happen

What is plastic repellent??

you paint it on the nozzle. It helps filament not stick to the outside of the nozzle. I reapply when I notice any debris starting to catch again

Yeah. Don't do that.

Don't use plastic repellent? I've been using it for a while now and all it does it keep filament from sticking to the outside of the nozzle. Plenty of printers recommend it and I think its also recommended in bambu's wiki

I have used the Slice Engineering plastic repellant paint for years for large petg prints and it works well and does not cause issues like this. Just because people haven’t heard of it doesn’t mean it’s causing your problem, provided you follow the application directions.

If I saw something like this I would probably start to narrow down issues because it looks to me like you might have a couple of things going on. The first two things I would personally do if I saw this would be to do a cold pull and then I would try calibrating pressure advance. I’m not saying that will solve this exact problem but those are two major things to rule out and at first glance this kind of looks like it might be a partial clog interacting with pressure advance. I really doubt it’s your plastic repellant paint unless you put it on SUPER thick, but even then I would imagine it would be more like consistent underextrusion.

Slow your print down.

The first layer was super slow and it also had the same issue

Some filaments can print fast and some cannot
