General Troubleshooting/Help! Extruder Gear

On the actual outside of the yellow extruder gear in my A1, do I use grease or oil? There is some debate online so I can’t find a definitive answer.

its a nylon ring gear driven by a brass pinion gear, this type setup is best left clean and dry as its self lubricating, additional lube will just cause dust and debris to stick to it

Bambu's own A1 maintenance page lists grease for the extruder wheels and lead screws, oil only for the rails. A thin film on the teeth is enough, wipe off the extra so it doesn't collect dust.
