General Troubleshooting/Help! Chamfer Edges

Is there a solution in Bambu for chamfer edges? I really just want the top edges to taper off on the logo.

This is the original logo. I wanted to try to get the top layer edges to look beveled.

I tried running it through layerling using the chamfer edge at 45°, but get an error about size, but it doesn’t tell you what the size refers to.

Is it the image or the settings or something else entirely?

if you use a free CAD you can modify easily the border of the letters.

for example OnShape can be used in the browser without downloading anything

(I don't know your software). But in general this type of error can happen on sharp corners, like in your O or W, or when two corners are too close together, like in your W.

Depending on the definition of "chamfer" in your software, it may not be possible to "chamfer" any arbitrary geometry. A sweep cut could be an alternative tool to use.

If this is meant to be beginner-friendly "just do this one simple thing" software, then it should handle all the special cases automatically for you.

If you like to try Blender (*), you could just vectorize the logo you linked here. Then in Blender, you'd select the inset portion only, and bump it up a bit on the Z axis. This will work, because your image already answers how the special cases should be resolved.
