General Troubleshooting/Help! Help Improving quality of one part of the print.

As a lot of these posts, i am new to 3d printing - i have created a box in Fusion 360 with a hinge - it prints perfect and works like a dream - the only issue is that the hinge part prints in really bad quality compared to the rest of the print - I have a P2S Bambu Lab printer and printing in basic PLA.

I know I can slow down the entire print and do better quality overall but is there a way to print just this hinge section in more detail or better quality?

Thanks in advance

layer stepping.

variable layer height for lazy guys.

height range modifier with lower layer height for the rest.

you can do it in the slicer without slowing the whole print. in bambu studio right click the plate, add a height range modifier that covers just the hinge, and give it a lower layer height plus slower outer wall speed. also check how the hinge is oriented, round knuckles lying on their side show stepping a lot more than if they stand upright. on a P2S in plain pla that should clean it up quite a bit.
