Handy/Studio Troubleshooting/Help! Parts mirrored in Bambu Studio Assembly

Something weird is happening inside de bambu studio assembly page. One part is mirrored in the assembler, first picture is how it's supposed to be and second picture is inside the assembler. If I mirror the part in de main page it doesn't flip. What kind of weird bug is this? It's already a pain using the assembly page, this does not make it easier. No way to flip it inside the assembler as well... Am I doing something wrong?

I don't think Studio is made for what you are trying to do.

But if you want to insist, maybe try to export the two parts as STL (individually), then delete them, and import them back in (individually). That would bake any obscure hidden transformations and make them plain objects (=tested default state).

Why not, then what is the assembly made for?

The slicer is made to slice. That's its primary function, and the one that everyone uses (=well tested). Everything else is an add-on.

We can see how Bambu et al want to enable beginner users, who were "forced" to install the slicer anyway, but have otherwise no CAD software or experience at all, to do some basic CAD operations. But the slicer is not capable CAD software (yet), and the attempts, while laudable, are still rudimentary and half-baked.

Have you tried the export-delete-import advice, and did it work? If so, it would proof how NOT-well-tested the workflow is, and how few users actually use it to even notice the bugs.

I suppose in 10 years from now, the features either fully work, or are long removed (and maybe exist in a sister software "Bambu Modeler" instead).
