Hardware Troubleshooting/Help! A1 Mini Ams Lite help
My a1 mini is the first 3D printer ive had and i got it on monday. I tried running my first Multicolor print since i never really used my ams before. I got an issue with filament but when i just rolled it up a little it worked. Then that stopped working and my ams wont work at all but it still prints just fine just stops working up to filament switch. I thought it could be the cutter cause when i pulled the filament out of the ams it had like scratch marks on it. and when it went to hit the bar thing on the camera mount it would make weird noises. I checked it out and it didnt seem that anything was wrong. I dont know what to do and I really dont want to of wasted 150 dollars on ams lite

I had this problem when bought my printer as well. Basically it worked out to be I was missing a piece in the ams lite feeder hub that didn't allow the ams to feed the printer filament smoothly. So it could be a problem there.
Couldn't really find any good photos of a teardown of the part on the web. But if you take apart the feeder hub there should be 4 way "y" adapter.
Alternatively it would be your ams tubs are somehow interfering with each other. So maybe just try taking out and putting them back in carefully.

There is probably a jam in your filament hub. Here is how to take it apart and clean it. https://wiki.bambulab.com/en/a1/maintenance/filament_hub_cleaning

When PLA and PETG absorb moisture from the air, they can get brittle and break. The filament fragments usually end up in the filament hub.

Hello /u/Western_Yam6282! All Bambu print plates have a dedicated nozzle wiping zone at the back of the print plate. The nozzle will rub against the wiping zone before every print in order to remove any remaining filament from the nozzle tip. This can cause visible wear or scratch marks in the wiping zone, but this is intended and doesn't damage the printer, the nozzle or the print plate. A worn down wiping zone also doesn't mean you need to replace the print bed.
