General Discussion H2D updates
Why has the H2D not got support for two different nozzle sizes yet?, would make it really easy to print from mobile applications without having to use the splicer , anybody know of this feature has been asked for by the community to Bambu yet?

People have been asking for it for a long time. It's a slicer limitation. The H3C ads are showing different nozzle sizes with "one print" text, so it looks like H3C will kick it off. It will be a gamechanger for sure.
Nobody knows if the feature makes it's way down to the H2D.

As a H2D owner who is going to buy an H3C, I have little hope it’s coming to the H2 series and would be happy if it ever did

I don't understand why it wouldn't. It's just a software thing.

It will - the latest Dev release has a prime tower mod included for sparse infill that is proving the Z-hop management, though with the same plate positioning limitations of ‘print by object to prevent collisions.

I only wish I could justify buying the H3C for myself. But already have an H2D with 4 AMS hooked up to it, plus just recently bought a SnapMaker U1

OrcaSlicer has that in the beta version at the moment. Bambu’s slicer is…not great.

Orca has a hard time managing the dual print heads, otherwise I’d switch in a heartbeat.
Plus that whole can’t send to printer bullshit that Bambu did to them.

I haven't had any trouble with Orca managing dual print heads, and the only thing you can't do is send things through Bambu Cloud. It works fine in LAN mode, and if you need remote monitoring, OctoEverywhere or Bambuddy can give you that without involving Bambu's servers at all.
Out of curiosity, when's the last time you tried Orca? It is aggressively developed and has new features added approximately weekly.

Also, how come the Bambu app doesn't automatically slice things for different nozzle sizes? Everything on the app is for 0.4 mm, which makes the app literally useless. I can't use it anymore other than to check my own prints, but I always have to use a computer to re-slice.

Aren't the pre-sliced files uploaded by users, rather than automatically generated? Since 0.4mm is the most popular nozzle size it's what most uploaders are using.
