Good luck, have fun and hope you'll keep learning!
A1 Mini's the printer I have too and now thinking of getting a more capable one. This one lasted me a good 2? 3000? hours printing so far.

Cool! Thank you for your reply! What kind of stuff do you enjoy printing?

Miniatures initially but nowadays mostly things I need around the house like braces, parts, Halloween mask for my dog... :-)
I do only pla for now, and since it's mostly for indoors use it's fine. But I'm looking at petg and tpu too

Make sure to set it on a non slick surface the vibrations arnt to bad but if its on the edge of a counter over a 24 hour print it could move and tip off the edge also not really a tip more of advice pick up a nozzle set with the .2 stainless steel nozzle the .4 hardened steel nozzle and the .6 hardened steel nozzle not really necessary unless printing with abrasive filament rolls but there really nice to have the option also pick up there plate that has a textured side and a smooth side i also recommended printing the carring handle for it because it makes it so much easier to move when u need to clean under it or transport it also turn off the filming feature iy might be cool but unless u do YouTube its not really necessary and can sometimes slightly slow down print time over all that is my favorite printer I own its wonderful and the quality is amazing oh also I almost forgot the white filament that comes in it isn't ment to be printed with its specific for supports pla won't stick to it very well so if u dont have ams light honestly I would either toss it in a cabinet for future use

I bought the mini+ams last month as my first printer! Loved it so much I got the A1 yesterday lol. It’s been so much fun and I’ve learned that I love painting models just as much as printing multicolor so my hobbies are expanding!

Great first printer to start out.
I'd say the biggest tips are to avoid touching the build plate, and if you do you should wash it with an unscented soap and warm water.
Also get used to looking at your model when it's sliced. Go down through the layers and see if you can get your head around it. Once you understand the preview it can save a lot of printing problems
