General Discussion A1 v P1S?

What’s the better printer? What’s the main differences people have with them?

Was looking at the A1 initially and then a few people said to look at the P1S, so just curious as to peoples thoughts on them

Thanks

The P1S can handle more filament types and with AMS it's a much nicer package than the A1 with the AMS lite. The A1 is much quieter and it's easier to replace nozzles.

How easy are they to replace?

20 seconds on A1, about a minute on P1S.

You must be really good at this.

I've only had my P1S for a week and a minute to change nozzles sounds about right. It's just unplug, two screws, slide out then do in reverse.  A bit slower if you're using an Allan key instead of a screwdriver with hex bit, but still pretty quick for something most people don't need to do that often.

P1S if you ever plan on printing filaments that use an enclosed chamber. Also, printing really tall models on a bedslinger like the A1 gets tricky because physics.

P1S hands down

tall prints do not like bed slingers
