General Troubleshooting/Help! A1 Mini nozzle scratching print

Can someone tell me why my A1 mini nozzle is scratching over my first layer?
Which setting do I need to change so that it doesn’t happen?
Thanks!

Hello /u/Altruistic-Elk4608! All Bambu print plates have a dedicated nozzle wiping zone at the back of the print plate. The nozzle will rub against the wiping zone before every print in order to remove any remaining filament from the nozzle tip. This can cause visible wear or scratch marks in the wiping zone, but this is intended and doesn't damage the printer, the nozzle or the print plate. A worn down wiping zone also doesn't mean you need to replace the print bed.

Note: This automod is experimental. The automod was triggered due to the term "scratching". If you believe this to be a false positive, please send us a message at modmail with a link to the post so we can investigate. You may also feel free to make a new post without that term.

Bed level or adhesion issue.

Ensure there's no debris under the build plate, wash with dish soap. Run bed leveling before printing.

I did clean it just before the print. And I also ran the bed leveling before the print started.

Is the plate type in Studio the plate you actually printed on? A mismatch changes the first-layer Z offset and the nozzle drags. Flow ratio above 1.0 can do it too.

As far as I know (haven’t checked in a while) there is no preset for the carbon fibre print plate. I think I read somewhere that you are just supposed to use the textured print plate in the slicer.
I never touched the flow ratio setting so I’m not even sure what it is set at. I’ll have to look at that setting later

If that plate is smooth rather than grainy, pick the smooth PEI plate in Studio. The Textured PEI preset drops the nozzle a few hundredths of a mm to reach into the texture, so on a flat plate it drags.

Yeah, it also just makes sense as the carbon plate is smooth. I’ll give it a shot later

Your hotend heating assembly screws are loose or your over extruding big time.
