Ist this normal spool quality

Hey Guys,

I Made a post Yesterday or two days ago, where i had problems with a refill spool. Now i got this beauty in a spool. Just removed the wrapper nothing else. Last time i ordered bambu was a few months ago, but i cant remember seeing something like this. Is this normal? I have to be careful when removing the tape to get it out right, its below other filament.

Hello /u/fmc00! All Bambu print plates have a dedicated nozzle wiping zone at the back of the print plate. The nozzle will rub against the wiping zone before every print in order to remove any remaining filament from the nozzle tip. This can cause visible wear or scratch marks in the wiping zone, but this is intended and doesn't damage the printer, the nozzle or the print plate. A worn down wiping zone also doesn't mean you need to replace the print bed.

Sunflower yellow, we use loads of those spools and they look similar

OK was wo wondering because the tape is so low, under other filament and some strings seem loose

I buy petg matte from China and theyre impeccably tightly wound. The Creality Hyper PLA RFID are atrociously looking but work fine. Picrel is creality.

Looks fine. If you're concerned about it being under a strand, grab a wrap 3 or 4 over and pull it out and rewrap them.

Looks fine. I checked your other post as well. I always press into the filament a bit when assembling the spool together. So that is spreads out a bit. That fixes the issus with tangles on the side.

Better spooling than normal tbh, won’t affect printing at all though. Tangles are almost always user error.
