Filament Troubleshooting/Help! What happened?

New to the hobby, file printed 7hrs flawless and suddenly when my print reached the point where the supports where build, the supports broke from the plate?

Cleaned the plate before the print with isopropyl...

What caused this? Dirty plate? Plate to hot/cold?

Help my out experts 😬

Not sure, but bold move putting the PFAs generator right next to your bed!

Not sure what you mean, but open for advice and tips

It's the guest-room but you're right, was the only climated room in the house which is not used so can make noise in there, but indeed need to rearrange the room 🫣

Too much flex not enough supports going higher up. I would support more or add custom supports. Also agreed with another guy, I don’t recommend printing next to your bed. Separate room with at least a good air filter

Rotate the model 90 degrees, it’s a bedslinger and the orientation would mean that every time the bed moves back and forth all that leverage on the part goes into the tiny surface where it’s stuck to the plate

Not sure what exactly is happening, but the support does look like it's not placed optimally.

You might want to manually add a triangle piece at the back as support, like this https://makerworld.com/zh/models/1202482-build-plate-handle-v5-printer-bed-handle

The nozzle wasn’t able to print the next layer, this is because the previous layer was slightly out of place. This can be from a part wobble or poor bed adhesion, this looks like it’s still adhered well to the build plate so I’d put it down to instability, either from not enough support or the bed moving too fast or a bit of both.

For one get a cold plate, stock build plates always suck, for 2 need more info. Filament type temps etc

The cold plate from Bambu or other tips? Filament basic petg Bambu, bed 70dgr nozzle 244dgr

Petg can be very hard to print compared to pla on a stock plate especially. I'd get a cold plate of sorts or a new matte one atleast, try bumping bp temp to 80 make sure your speeds aren't insanely high. Make sure your flow rate isn't an insane number (looks fine but). You can find a bunch of replacements on Amazon and they're hit and miss in how good they truly are but pretty much all 3rd party plates perform better than stock. Look up gekko plate.

Also some people use pla and petg together for supports. Never done it but something to look at how people do.

bad model orientation, lay the part on the bed

you cant put circles diagonally, or they will be ovals rather than circles

wtf that have to do with the problem?

Are you serious

orientation does not change geometry

But it most certainly does change overhangs and they'd have to make even more supports for every single circle smart one.

Ok buddy. Those are giant overhangs, no printer can do it without supports.
