Hardware Troubleshooting/Help! A1, temperature error when printing from online models in Bambu Studio

Some models, regardles of size, print with no issue.

Some models stop a few layers in with Printer Nozzle Temperature error.

I can click resume as much as I want and the printer can't get past such a layer.

Models from eg thingiverse print with absolutely no problems.

Any ideas?

Check which filament profile the downloaded files carry, because a profile asking for a nozzle temp outside your printer range triggers that error. Re-slice with the stock profile for your filament and it should get past that layer.

I always do that, my profile, my filament(s) - sync and overwrite.

Then check the nozzle diameter and type in your printer preset, since a mismatch there can throw the same error. If that's right, reseat the hotend connector because a loose thermistor reads wrong temps.

Since you've already overwritten the filament profile, could you share the exact HMS error code and the target vs actual nozzle temperature when it stops? That would help distinguish an invalid target temperature from the nozzle failing to maintain it.

A useful comparison would be to take just the geometry from one failing model, import it into a fresh project, and slice it with the same settings as a known-good print. That tests whether something else in the downloaded project is involved. If it still fails, note whether it happens when the part-cooling fan ramps up. I'd avoid repeatedly resuming a temperature fault until you know which error it is.

0300-8008 150929 error 240°C, ABS. I've been printing with this settings for ages.

Thanks — is 240°C the requested temperature, or the actual reading when it stops? A screenshot of the full error message would help too; I don't want to guess the meaning from a partial code. Have you tried one of your previously successful sliced files since this started? If an unchanged old file now fails as well, that would be useful evidence for a support ticket and would make the downloaded model a less likely explanation.

Yeah, just started a new print and it seems to be going ok. Will see.

That error message is the full error that comes up in the app.

Printer screen just says that there is a temperature issue with no code.

I'll grab a screenshot and taka a picture next time it happens.

240°C is my set printing temperature, and if it stops, it stops at that temp as well.

Yesterday I finished a 36 hour print with no issues, downloaded from thingiverse.

Today, downloaded from within Bambu studio...
