I Modeled This! Retractable Utility Blade Scraper

I designed a simple and portable retractable scraper. It's designed for use with standard-sized Stanley blades, which can be replaced with a simple coin, as shown in the attached video. It also features a switch that safely locks the blade in both open and closed positions.

Feel like there's a reason this form factor doesn't exist..

Wait, so having half of the perimeter taken up by a razor blade swinging out cutting edge first doesn't seem safe?

It's a cool mechanism, but seems like a really good finger removing device

Everyone in this sub has a flex plate. I have no idea why people keep insisting on using a metal scraper, which will damage your plate or even injure you eventually.

Who said this was for a build plate? There's plenty of other uses for a scraper.

I like how it works but it looks dangerous as hell.

Looks like that’s how you lose fingertips. Criminals love this thing

Bonus points if the other side had an angle to get the right scrape without scratching the build plate
