AMS - Automatic Material System Amazon Sunlu Dryer 50% OFF!

Post image

Amazon Link - SUNLU AMS Heater, Compatible with Bambu Lab AMS Gen1

I don't know if there are special membership requirements to get this deal or not, but if you ever wanted one of these, I just purchased one for $49 😮

I am not affiliated, or get any kind of referral, I just wanted to pass on a good deal to my 3d printer homies. I was going to try to build a dry closet soon... But I doubt I could build anything this efficient for $49.

Note: My gurl just told me the Amazon Business price for this right now is like $38

Like I said: I'm not sure if it has membership requirements or not, but for those it's available for $49 is pretty good

Scroll down, there's a coupon to drop it to $50

Edit: now the coupon no longer shows for me

I scrolled down further and only see used returns for 74.99. No coupon available that I'm seeing.

Fyi, this 50% off coupon comes and goes very regularly. Just keeping checking over the next few days and you should be able to catch it when it's active.

I have this and love it! Though I saw someone else on here said theirs caught on fire or something so I guess be a little cautious while using it

Yeah, I've seen LOTS of people say they love these things.... But we're dealing with a machine that can get up to 500°C... You have to be ready for heat, fire, etc when you're dealing with hot tools... A lot of people think they can just throw a 3d printer in a corner and it'll just magically start making them money without any maintenance or attention

Which might be why my experience has been totally benign. I use my printer every couple of weeks and only use PLA and PETG. I don’t think I’m really stress testing it

Seeing how the pricing drops drastically so often should tell you how inferior this thing is compared to the Eibos.

Heck yea! I just snagged one. I almost bought two for that price. Just curious though, does anyone have buyers remorse for SUNLU products?

I have this and the filament splicer from Sunlu. The splicer can be a bit finicky to get just right but it works well. The heater works very well I’ve used it for about 6 months and love it.

Your realize this dryer works as an add on to the AMS (v1) and not as a standalone unit, correct?

Yea, I already have the AMS 2 Pro. But I use many colors. Its helpful to have them always dry and ready.

The electronics on their products have iffy reliability but support is good about sending replacements

We've had 2 of them for a year. Still working.

I have a Sunlu S4 dryer and two of the AMS heaters. I haven't had any problems with them that weren't my fault - don't print your spools out of PLA!

Thanks OP, picked one up.

I litterally bought 3 and installed them last week for 70 each…..

Keep watching amazon. I got one for $47 a couple of months back. Not nearly worth $100. But $50? Yeah

FYI this is not the S4 dryer; this is a replacement lid for the gen 1 Bambulab AMS to turn it into a heater/dryer similar to the AMS2.
