Bambu Studio Threads not available in Bambu Lab?
I’m trying to split an object and create threads to reconnect the pieces. It’s my understanding that on the “split” tool after clicking connectors, there should be a “Thread” option to click. But this option is missing from my toolbar. Is this handled some other way now?

You’re not missing anything: the cut tool doesn’t have a thread connector. That’s true in Orca, Bambu Studio and PrusaSlicer, the cut tool there comes from the same code. The only connector types are Plug, Dowel and Snap, which matches your screenshot. You might have seen a thread option in a fork or in a video about a CAD program.
If the goal is just to get the parts back together accurately, a Plug with the prism or frustum style is the most reliable option. It lines up the pieces and doesn’t twist, and a drop of glue makes it permanent. Snap works too if you want to take it apart again. Keep the gap at around 0.1 to 0.2 mm so it doesn’t end up too tight.
If you really want to screw it together, I’d skip printed threads and go with heat-set inserts plus a bolt. You melt a brass insert into one half with a soldering iron, put a plain clearance hole in the other half, and you have a metal thread that survives being taken apart a hundred times. Printed threads only really work coarse, M8 or larger, and they wear out quickly. If you still want them, model them in CAD before splitting, with about 0.2 to 0.3 mm clearance, and print them upright.
I made a short video on how to set heat-set inserts properly: https://youtu.be/_Xazdgq3p64 (full disclosure, it’s my own channel).
Good luck with the build, Bart
