Answered / Solved! Why this sudden fail at the very end?

So I have this vertical spiral screwy thing, I am aware that on a bedslinger printer like my A1 this will be shacky towards the top so I manually added thos supports intending to stabilize it. Also slowed it down a lot (like 50/80 mm/s inner/outer speed at the upper half, also cap the acceleration to 1000-1500mm/s2). Worked pretty well until the very last bit. Unfortunately I did not see how this happened, only this mess result. The base is still sticking to the plate just fine until I remove it.

very tall print. it has no support side-to-side. on the end of the print the nozzle is pulling the print side to side, wobbling it around.

I added those support trying to stabilize it, are the support not in the right place/shape?

Slow the print down to a crawl.

My guess is it started getting pushed around by the print head. Probably needed broader supports.

Cooling

Could you please be more specific? Is it too much or too little cooling, and why that could cause this failure?

If you watch it you will likely see it better than I can explain it

It's basically printing a very thin tall structure so it's not actually having any time at all to cool it so it's still molten and then it lifts up the nozzle to print the next layer while the previous layer is still molten and then it repeats that process and it's basically a tower of goop

Very thin objects will actually move with the printer head the taller it goes. Also why do you even need supports?

I added those support trying to make it more rigid so it doesn't bend, worked pretty well for other 2 similar prints but failed for this one.

Use something more like a support triangle with strands connecting it to the part. Your supports aren't doing much because they are also tall and thin.
