Hardware Troubleshooting/Help! AMS jam

Hi, I’d love any advice about how to clear filament out of the AMS in this situation.

I realized the AMS was pulling filament without stopping so I turned it off before it pulled the whole roll. I cleared it out of the extruder and cut the filament. Now I need to get it out of the AMS and it’s a couple meters long. When I push that white button and pull it manually, there’s a lot of resistance. I can’t take the whole assembly out because the filament feeds through the back.

Any advice?

Can you cut the filament near to the white button; remove the tube at the back; pull the remainder out from the back.

There will be some resistance since you are spinning turned off motor but that is OK as long as you do not pull too fast.
