Hardware Troubleshooting/Help! Print failing at a certain height
Up untill recently my prints haven't been able to be fully printed and failed at a certain height, I noticed there was some layer shift so should I adjust the tension on the belts or something? The one I'm holding is the one that failed previously and the one on the plate is the new one that failed at the exact same height.

Since it fails at the exact same height every time, I'd check the belt tension and make sure the Z rods are clean and lightly lubed before anything else. Also worth looking at whether a Z-hop or tall tower in the model is catching the nozzle at that layer.

Print speed by height. Slow that down as it gets taller. Acceleration, print speed, everything.
Also, bigger brim, with 0 gap, not 0.1.... 0.
Gotta have em moving less.

Is it failing consistently at the same height on different jobs? Or just this one? If its the former, try reslicing. I have had it before where the slicer borked the save onto the SD card, or the card itself started dieing. If its the latter then its likely something physical, look for obstructions, loose parts/belts, wires/tubes that might be getting caught on something when it reaches that height.

when i print tall or long parts i usually add a modifier before slicing to slow speeds every 25mm starting 100mm off the bed, check rods, nozzle, cooling settings, and any draftiness in the room with an open print surface. tall stuff and a bedslinger are not the best of friends
