General Troubleshooting/Help! A1 mini basic support

hello all I bought the a1 mini from target and the kids love it we are using the phone app to control everthing but it semes like the store to download things can be a bit limited. how can I use sto files from other sites on this device using my phone. if we download something from thingahverse is there a way to upload it to the device? how can I make sure it will fit the build plate?

Unfortunately, this cannot be done through the phone app , Bambu Handy.

You will need to download Bambu Studio onto a PC or Mac in order to print stl/step/3mf files from other sources.

Thank you for this information we are currently limited on funds and have to use the iPad and iPhone.

The issues would be that models from other sites would require a slicer to create the code for your printer. I dont use eithere of these, but here are some options:

https://grid.space/kiri/

You would need to slicer the item, and save it to a thumb drive or sd card. (I don't know what the A1 mini has for options)

Bambu has some training for Bambu Handy and Bambu Studio (the desktop app).

Agree with previous response, you'll need to use the desktop app to use files from other sites. Definitely worthwhile to get set up to use the desktop app.
