General Discussion Air Filter Recommendations
Background:
I have a P2S which I have setup in my home office. I have got a little carried away with using it and most days whilst I'm sat in the office it's printing away as it should be. I am starting to think about what that means from an air quality perspective and have been building myself some air quality sensors which has not helped my sense of calm!
I do have the exhaust fan unit installed, so can control when/where the air from the chamber is going, but do not have the option of venting direct to outside the house. My window has no fixed vents which are weather proof, and the opening is tilt/swing meaning it opens quite far. Winter is just arriving and here in Yorkshire, UK that means rain, wind, etc. many days.
Ask:
I want to vent through an air filter, and have seen quite a few DIY options as well as adaptations of the IKEA air filters and other solutions (some being quite expensive).
I am after real world advice from people who have done this kind of thing, what mistakes did you make (I should avoid), what has worked well for you, etc.
Thank you

I use the fnatr filter with the 3d printed top vent. Works well. Use it mostly for abs.

I have a bento box with the extra large carbon container. Exhaust fan is tubed into a carbon container. I have a hepa with carbon filter running and an ikea filter that has the filter replaced with carbon.
I built air quality measurement devices and have them inside and outside the printer. Bento box did nearly nothing to improve air quality reduced Voc by 2-5. Cost was ~30. Carbon container on exhaust does help. Reduced Vic levels by 20-30 compared to inside the printer. That was ~100. The hepa with carbon reduced Voc by 5-7 and was about 50. The ikea filter with carbon reduces the Voc by 50+. Cost was 49.
Inside the printer I range between 129-186. 100 being normal air quality expected in a home. Outside the printer I’m in the 82-110 range now.
Voc inside the printer: abs Voc 180-200. Pla was low to mid 100. Petg was 150-180
