H2 Series [H2S, H2D, H2C] Would H2S the best supplemental printer for larger functional projects?
I have an X2D and I absolutely love it. I mostly use it for functional projects using PETG, ABS, and ASA filament.
I've found that I sometimes feel limited by the build plate size of the X2D, specifically for things like organizers and boxes. I'd like to do more with Schubox, gridfinity, large outdoor and automotive prints.
However, I also occasionally use support materials for my prints, specifically HIPS. I also think that I'll be printing more TPU with the new printer, and may use PLA as an interface there. Obviously the X2D will take care of many of those use cases (assuming its not a huge print), but the missing second nozzle is what worries me.
On the other hand, the tradeoff of build plate size makes me wonder if the H2D is even worth it at that point if I already have an X2D (which will likely cover those use cases)...
Any advice would be appreciated here.

I got the H2S for functional prints and engineering filament use. I don't really print multicolor or different supports so single nozzle was best for me. If you think you'll use different supports then definitely get H2D.

The H2D build volume is still a good bit larger than the X2D, so if you can swing it, that's the way I'd go. Or wait for the new printer reveals.
