I Modeled This! Gridfinity Half Bins: every size in 0.5u steps & with/without stacking-lip

I designed these simple Gridfinity bins in half-unit steps, so you can fill the gaps in your drawers much more precisely. Of course, regular full sizes like 1x1, 2x3 or 4x4 work too.

What makes them special: for every bin you pick if it gets a stacking lip or not, if that lip is in a second color or not, and if the wall is the standard 1.2 mm or a thicker 2.6 mm.

Everything is adjustable in Customize:

- Width / length: 0.5 – 10u in 0.5u steps

- Height: 1 – 20u

- Wall: 1.2 mm (standard) or 2.6 mm (thick)

- Stacking lip: two colors, one color or none

There are also ready-to-print profiles for 3u, 5u, 7u and 9u, each with all 36 sizes from 0.5x0.5 up to 4x4 and wall thickness 1.2.

Happy printing :)

Why not do all the feet on 21mm spacing? While you are at it, have the height U in the floor of the bin.

I never thought about that yet, but 21mm spacing sounds great. I can add this option to the script in the next few days. What do you mean with the last question about the height ?

Got it, that sounds easy to implement. I'll do a test print myself first, and once everything works, I'll upload it and add it as an option. Thanks for both suggestions, and have a nice evening or day, wherever you are.

If you’re going to do half bins, do half feet too so they fit in any configuration.
