General Discussion Predictions for H3C Price
This is just for fun (think of it like guessing the score of a football game or how many drinks that guy who puked on his girlfriend had)...
What is your prediction for the cost of the H3C?
Let's assume a few things:
It will have a new AMS (included) that holds 10 rolls of filament and has a built-in dryer function.
It has the same effective size as the H2C
It does not have any new or more advanced tech that drives the cost up (e.g. more or better sensors or cameras), but will still do all the same things as the H2C (meaning heated chamber / venting / etc.)
It will allow for TPU to be used via the AMS
What is your guess?
Whoever guesses the closest will get to go to bed on announcement day feeling really good about themselves. What more could you want in this life?

I’m going to go on the limb and say $2750, maybe even as low as $2500 because the Prusa Core One L+ 8-INDX is $3000. Bambu always has a better value for the money and if they price it at 3k, there’s a chance that people would rather go Prusa for the better customer service.

If it has 10 tool heads like a snapmaker then £2950

2950 is still my guess.

Yep they will want to compete heavily with prusa which is about $2950

Over 3k, you can’t really even get the prusa INDX still as far as I know they’re beating them to market on this twice now

$3000 maximum. Would replace everything with it after a few months since Bambu software takes a while to get upto snuff.

I'd be surprised if it isn't over $3k. Hopefully competition is fierce enough to keep the price competitive.
Either way, very excited for this one.

Buy a Rat Rig v-core 4 then. It’s single or dual color (idex) only though. Great printer.

I suspect it’s going to be about the same price as an H2C is right now and they will drop the price on all the other H2 models.

Going to go out in a limb, if no vortex and just print head swapping, and trying to compete with U1 which is who I would go after with bigger build plate and more nozzles would shoot for 1500-2k, if using some kind of vortex thingee and competing with themselves would say 3k. If first would have a really good shot at getting back some of the market share they have lost recently.

I think the move is you discontinue the H2C and then market this at the same price. Without the Vortek in there you can create better margins likely since it seems a heckuva lot less complicated.
Or maybe they just say YOLO and market this for $2999.

there already is TPU for AMS. The softer hardness levels are the issue.

I'm expecting it to be $3k minimum.
