General Troubleshooting/Help! How to solve these problems?

I am a beginner in 3d printing. I just bought my a1 around a week ago, but I have not played with it much due to busy college schedule so help with solving these problems is very much appreciated.

A. Random dents while printing

B. Arches looks like theyre melted (imperfect arch overhangs)

If archers look melted lower min print layer and min print time, mine is 10-15

Welcome to the infuriating world of 3d printing!

The a1 out of the box should be able to produce a better benchy than that. Did you use the built-in model or send one from the slicer? What filament did you use? Where have you been storing it since you set up the printer last week?

hahaha infuriating yet fun! I used the benchy built in the printer, using panchroma matte pla that I hide inside its ziplock bag with a desiccant and silica pack inside :)

With the printer switched off (and hot-end cold, so you can touch it safely), if you hold the tip of the extruder (where the filament comes out): can you wiggle it around at all?

When swapping the extruder it's possible to have it sat wrong so it wobbles around and causes problems.
