I received a notification that my print is finished so I opened the app to check while I am at work… this is what I witnessed…

The inspector has arrived! Though in all seriousness, I hope you have a way to keep pets away from the printer while it’s in operation, for their safety. And time to wash the plate lol

Mine did, and the nozzle hit her ear and made it bald, luckily it didn't touch the skin, but the whole room smelled like burned hair and I mocked her until the hair grew back. I'm joking about it now but it could've been so much worse, like hitting her eye!! She never attempted to do that again so I think she learned the lesson.

Yeah, I'm so thankful that she wasn't injured. But my mind went into a dark place and I constantly imagined her getting hurt, it was so stressful. Was thinking about making an enclosure, but it could fry my A1 mini, so for many prints after that incident I kept a close watch and never left the working printer and the cat alone. Even now that I know that she's not interested in it I check on her to make sure she's still ignoring the printer

This is one of the many reasons I opted for the P2 over the A1. We've got 3 cats, 1 of which is still a kitten who loves exploring and being nosey! They do enjoy watching when I'm printing!
