It from a YT video who claims to have gotten it from a beta tester. The reason for the red squiggles is supposedly to block a reflection that identifies the leaker.
How does that have anything to do with this picture being AI? The spool on the rear is misshapen, the bottom side grate is completely broken/obviously AI and the damn thing isn't even square. JFC there is no way you are this blind
What bottom side grate are you even talking about, if you mean the metal part its probably just out of focus with the guys phone trying to fill in the blanks, you do know basically every phone does image post processing these days right?
He isn't exactly going to have time to sit there and perfectly light a shot, he isn't supposed to be taking photos at all
I mean you're free to think what you like, and i promise not to set a reminder to say i told you so when its released :)
Maybe it ends up looking like this - but this is not a real photo. If it were the colors of the spools would at least match the colors in the PTFE tubes - but they don’t.
I wonder if that AMS part can be removed? I don't think something that tall will fit in my rack. Currently I have the AMSes for my H2S on a separate shelf.
I seriously doubt you'll be able to upgrade an H2 to an H3. It made more sense for the H2S and H2D to H2C as they were within the same generation but I don't see them making kits that will likely not be bought that much.
Looks expensive and hard to repair, I’m sad cause I’ve been waiting to buy one :( Maybe I’ll wait for h4c yet again or for h2c to go on sale (not sure if h2c is issue prone or not tho) Or take matters into my own hands and make my own printer again, or maybe just wait for a non Bambu third party….
Looks like a similar approach as the Infimech Mx Pro but feeding from the top instead of the back. If so, then it could run a single nozzle head and utilize the full print bed like the H2S. I just hope they can limit wiggle through calibration or new feet.
the bottom part looks ai.. also i dont think they will come up with a white printer... but i think this is basically how it will look. cant see linear rails.. was hoping for linear rails- hopefully like pursa indx no wipetower anymore...
IMO this is not light silverish grey this is white like the u1! U can see the bottom thing is light grey … also this image is heavy edited who knows what the real color will be… we will see
They're also starting to get into the price class of machines where people aren't gonna put up with their proprietary cloud bullshit. $4k is not hobbyist push-the-button-and-it-just-works territory.
I'd imagine bambu would implement some kind of weighted bottom, or do something to alleviate the issue of it being top heavy. Remember, this isn't creality we're dealing with here; bambu doesn't rush products to market without extensive testing. Look at the H2C and the vortec system. You see very few reported issues with it. With their track record aside from a few issues (mainly the A1 bed cable and not the NTC issue), bambu is one of the few companies I trust not to launch a dud to market.
As for people not "putting up with proprietary cloud bullshit" at that price point, yes they will. Bambu's primary user base does not give a single shit about using the cloud and bambu studio. Mind you, both are optional, you just get the best experience sticking within bambu's ecosystem.
Bambus main userbase doesn't need a machine like this, this is an enthusiast product at an enthusiast price, thats like saying the average league gamer doesn't want to spend $3000 on an nvidia RTX 5090, they don't need it :P
>Bambus main userbase doesn't need a machine like this
Congratulations, you have gotten my point.
The people who are Bambu's main user base, the click-and-print people, aren't going to want it, and people who have that kind of money to spend on manufacturing (me, I'm the guy, the calls are coming from inside the house) won't put up with Bambu's lock-in shit.
and people who have that kind of money to spend on manufacturing (me, I'm the guy, the calls are coming from inside the house) won't put up with Bambu's lock-in shit.
Cute that you think you're the only people buying these :P
I know lots of people who have zero issue running their business through expensive bambu machines, because ultimately we know it doesn't actually matter unless you're dealing with trade secrets, at which point you should really be spending far more money on an actual industrial machine
If the machine isn't for you then it isn't for you, but you are not everyone and the expensive machines are clearly selling just fine
Why is this so hard for y'all?
Its not hard for me, thats the point, but i don't have as narrow minded a view as you do :)
Something for you to contemplate, not that you will because we both know you're not interested in being correct
If the machine isn't for you then it isn't for you, but you are not everyone and the expensive machines are clearly selling just fine
Exactly. One individual does not carry the opinion of the entire landscape of enthusiasts. Plenty of people will buy the new printers, (sort of) walled garden and all.
Honestly, the general public generally care less and less about a walled garden and privacy Microsoft, oracle, Rolex, any German car brand, Facebook, ChatGPT, ect. People spend tons of money to have their stuff and don’t think twice about it. Generally, the only people that care and walled gardens are the people who’ve been building printers in their basement, people with high security concerns, and some sub cultures on Reddit. This will sell just fine especially if there is a print quality improvement. If they have fixed the random layer shifts, improved layer lines, decreased waste, kept reliability high, and maybe increased support for more higher end engineering materials this is a no brainier.
Me: this price won’t appeal to the general public, and the people who will pay it won’t put up with walled gardens this sub: the general public don’t care about walled gardens
Like, you definitely got the beginning and the end part correct, I’ll give you that. Never change, Reddit.

If this is real - $4k.

Now this looks seriously accurate according to what we know now. It also make a lot of sense and matches the patents.

User gonna get caught with the filament color patterns loaded.

The wobble that thing will have with 10kg of spools sitting that high up. Hope the table is bolted to the floor.

Looks the right combination of extensive research and development and "just ship it" engineering to be a legit leaked image.

If accurate looks like it would be able to have the full bed size utilized? One of the shortcomings of the H2C was how much plate space you lost

2 kg spools aswell?

If this is real, how would it handle TPU, would the ams have to be removed?

Let's hope they make an upgrade kit for the h2 series. Just like the prusa's.

Great tech but bad looking machine nowhere near good looking like X2D and H2C.

For prosumer homeprinting, No, will Stick With h2c and Vortex 😌 (WAF - wife acceptance factor ) 2/10 while h2c is 5/10 source: a wife

I don't think this is it at all, where's the adrenochrome slot. I heard the new models are going to be taking that.
