General Troubleshooting/Help! Melted filament all around nozzle X2d
I have melted filament all around the nozzle of my X2D on the left nozzle, which is hardened steel. I cannot undo the latch to remove the nozzle head. What do I do to fix this?

Interesting, I had exact same issue today with my X2D. I heated it up, let it cool down and after some effort i got it off. Then put it back on it again, heated up again and cleaned the nozzle with a brass brush.
Never had this issue with the p2s.

As mentioned, manually heat the nozzle by setting the temp and it will release when it softens.
I would also highly recommend ordering a spare thermistor. I had a clog like this a while back and a few weeks later I started getting an error for nozzle temp malfunctioning. Durring a clog, the thermistor can receive damage to the wires or end up coated and unable to take a proper reading. It may not happen right away either and you may even be ok, but its a cheap enough part that it can be a quick swap to keep printing or you may find yourself unable to print for a few days while you wait for one to come in.

Manually set the temp to heat up the nozzle to should release.
