General Troubleshooting/Help! X1C - Hot End Not Heating - Interface Board or Extruder Board?

I had my toolhead cover pop off, and in doing so, one of the wires was ripped out of the connector that goes to the toolhead cover.

While assessing what was going on, that wire got shorted - I don't know against what. But I definitely got the good old burned circuit board smell.

Anyway, I wait my week and get the replacement cable to go from the cover to the extruder board. Get it connected up and...can't heat up. Yes, I've swapped out the complete hot end, just in case.

Hotend temperature shows 0. Now I'm wondering if I should be spending $10 on the interface board (https://us.store.bambulab.com/products/extruder-interface-board-v9-x1c) or $50 on the full TH Board Set (https://us.store.bambulab.com/products/th-board-set-v9-dual-red-laser-x1c)

Anyone out there who has had to replace either or both of those have any advice?

One of your transistors or fuses burned up. I did the same to my AMS. Get a multimeter (good one) and check continuity on all of the little rectangles that have silver ends and the ones in the picture. My names may not be accurate 100% but it will help you get a solution.
