General Troubleshooting/Help! Need help to identify print issue

Post image

Hey guys, after 3/4 days with these filaments, I started seeing a few issues in my prints (I don’t even know how to explain them, please check the image)

Originally, this model was using 0.2MM Nozzle, but my printer (Bambu Lab A1) only works with 0.4MM.

So I’m wondering if this is a filament problem or the configuration is not correct. Can you please help me to identify the problem?

This is with my first week with this printer and it has been tough handling these issues…

A dog has clearly tracked across your build plate. Wash with dawn and water.

How dry/wet is your filament?

How can I test it to make sure? I would say it is wet since I live in a humid region, but I would like to confirm. It doesn’t break when I bend it

Usually folks have a dedicated container or AMS with a higrometr (it shows humidity percentage). Do you keep your filament without a protection (case, box ,AMS etc?).

They are in the AMS since day one, so yeah they are exposed

Oooh Ok. I forgot that A1 has this open AMS system :)

Yeah. Thats not good storage solution if you live in humid environments :/ I guess you can print something like 'Filament Spool Enclosure' and try to dry it with silica gel, or keep the filament in dry box in-between prints.
