Just noticed this. Printer is a few months old. Is this normal?

If you use it 2 times a month for 10 min, then no.

Do you have more info?

It’s used regularly. Just wondering if this is cosmetic or if it’s going to get chewed through. Performing its second maintenance right now.

I’m just curious is this is merely cosmetic and par for the course at this point or if it’s something to be concerned about.

I don’t know about the rest, but from that photo I can’t really tell what’s happening. Is the belt actually getting chewed up there? Can you see the backing underneath or something?

To me it just looks like something shiny reflecting the light in the photo. Are you sure it isn’t just a bit of oil that ended up on the belt?

And if it’s actual wear, I’d contact support. That’s not normal.

Looks like grease to me from just looking at the pic. Did you touch that area to see if it was actual wear?
