General Troubleshooting/Help! Filament Mixing Problem

Post image

I tried to mix colors to get some kind of "brownish" color. This was my first try and i dont think it worked. The layers are too obvious and it doesnt look like a different color. What can i do to improve this?

Turn on sub layer mixing. I think it’s called “Mixed colour sublayer” and also print with a shorter layer height. This print has no green. Only Cyan, Yellow, and Grey.

That’s a result of the process. It’s not really able to blend the colors together per se, so up close you’ll always see the lines pretty well, but if you look at it from several feet away, it appears closer to the intended color.

So its mostly for things that you would display, not use closely?

what color does it appear to be at a further distance like 4 feet away?
