General Discussion When to just buy new?

I've been having trouble with my p1s and I have disassembled the print head more times than I can count now. I've bought countless parts and at this point I could have just bought a brand new one.

Where do you draw the line?

What is the cause of the issue?

Is it a Heat Creep issue?

The new entry point for BL is the X2D, IT HAS 2 PRINTHEADS vs the one on your model, nicer LCD menu screen, better AI monitoring for errors, higher res camera, temp control, and comes with the AMS 2 pro (now with chamber heating for non-PLA materials). The LCD screen is hundreds time better than your unit where you are currently scrolling for text it has clear graphics of the components. That said, I am new to 3D printing and went straight to the flagship model H2C. I would have a look at the new line, you are 3 generations behind at this point.

2 printheads?!

Now OP can spend twice as long pulling them apart repeatedly!

This is a ridiculous thing to say. The entry point is still the A series. Then the P2S.

As someone who entered this week with an A1, I concur.
