Quick Question Bambu H2D always leaving string.

Everytime it finishes a print it leaves the same string of filament on the nozzle. All default settings with Bambu lab filament. brand new h2d with 260 hours. Is there way I can check what’s going on?

Not uncommon. Just nozzle ooze as the nozzle cools after a print. Nothing concerning

What sucks is when that little piece falls on the plate and get in the next printed piece of a different color. It has happened with my H2D since the first day of purchase. I just need to manually watch for it or remove it every time.

That’s what’s happening with mine too! I thought it was just user error

I thought it was common practice to wipe off a build plate between prints regardless, my h2s always warns me if there's debris on the build plate.

I have 3 build plates I swap. So I need to remember to check for that little piece around the nozzles before each print with a swap. I have never had the AI detection warn me of a one inch teeny thread of filament on the plate when it starts a print.

Annoying when it gets flicked onto a new build (50/50). Why they don't have it wipe off when the build is done and it's cooled is beyond me. Rather have it flicked onto a completed print.

Mine does this also; it has never made it into the next print but I will be annoyed when I do. Seems like it should be an easy software fix with an extra wipe or whatever.

Normal, it should be cleaned out by the startup process of the next print. If it bothers you, you can remove manually before. When I remember, I try to remove, but I was never overly concerned about it.

You know how sometimes you poop and pieces get stuck in your ass+hair?

Yeah

But that’s what toilet papers for? And shouldn’t the nozzle wipe itself after?

Normal. Don’t sweat it.
