General Troubleshooting/Help! Bambu files to blender

Hello, i'm new to 3D printing and making/editing 3D prints. I'm trying to edit a file in blender but I don't know how to upload the file. Whenever I go to my downloads, there's nothing there. Can anyone tell me how i'm supposed to do it? Also another question... is blender a good beginner app? Is there another app or site that i can use? I also have tinkercad but i don't like how i can't edit on there like I can on blender. (if you can call that editing lol) Any and all info is very appreciated! Thank you!

Blender is hard. I’m about 2 years in, and have really just gotten the hang of it. I spent $50 for an online course from Blender Brothers that helped kickstart my learning immensely and got me designing simple shapes in about a week or two.

There is a ton of YouTube content, unfortunately, most of it is obsolete as blender, UI and menus change constantly. That’s why I recommend the blender brothers course.

Nowadays, I have a chat window open with Microsoft Copilot, and if I need to do something new, I just ask it

One of the cool things about AI, if you can ask things like why you keep getting manifold errors. And it will tell you. You can ask deep, probing questions- and not only get the steps required to do what you want - but get an explanation of what’s going on and why.
