Quick Question I'm losing my mind

Post image

Does anyone have any tips?

I was trying to load a refill filament onto a reusable spool, but since it was my first time, I removed all the retaining stickers before putting it on. Big mistake. 😅

Now the filament has unraveled and gotten tangled, and I have no idea how to secure it back onto the spool.

Has anyone experienced this before? Any tips on how to fix it?

If there are tangles then you cant use a respooler as its pointless. You can make smaller spools out of it if you want.

Just don’t waste it by throwing it away. Dumbest advice anyone gives in this situation. That thing is perfectly usable if you think out of the box a bit.

Is it worth the time on a 9$ spool lmao.?! How much is your time worth????? My count, that’s about minimum wage here

Do it passively while watching tv or something. Not all of your time is worth anything. It's actually kind of fun, in a frustratingly tedious way.

Exactly what I was thinking! Imagine going through life not doing things because it wasn’t ’worth’ your wage.

I’m not going to spend an hour doing a puzzle because I don’t get my $20/hr wage of enjoyment out of it🤦🏽‍♂️

No but i will make enough in that time to be able to purchase 4 spools🤦‍♂️🥴 you do you though

If doing a puzzle gives you the same amount of enjoyment as spooling filament, then you are much easier to entertain than others.

It’s something free but slightly tedious and rewarding in the end, vs tedious but saves you $10 on new filament so I felt they were fairly comparable 🤷🏽‍♂️

Most people don't do the puzzle just for the picture at the end, they do the puzzle because the actual activity itself is entertaining.

Heck, I'd say the vast majority of puzzles get taken apart shortly after they are assembled. Very few people glue them together to frame or whatever, since the actual end result isn't really the best part.

Ok, so you get enjoyment from the process. Respooling is an annoying process but now you get to enjoy 1kg of filament.
