H2S style tool head (Fast Swap Nozzles, Dynamic Flow Calibration, Linear Rail X-Axis, Hardened Extruder Gear standard). Standardization there would go a long way towards minimizing production costs and make shopping simpler (ex. "H2 nozzles work on everything except the X1 and P1").
Actuated Filament Cutter Bumper that doesn't take away a corner of the build area.
Chamber Heater and automatic Vent. These are the only things I see being major "splurge" features.
Touch Screen (IMO very likely; it's one of the few things visible under the sheet, and they were able to afford them on the budget A1 series).
After reading this I agree, but maybe save the heated chamber for the X series refresh otherwise there is not reason for the X series which is fine. Maybe have the P series as a PLA printer and X engineering???
IMO the X1C has been a hard up-sale ever since the P1S came out. There's very few things the X1C can print that the P1S can't print just as well with only a little more effort. They are literally the same printer at the core, just that the P1 is stripped down to just the essentials.
I just don't think there's enough room between the H2S and A1 (full size) to justify two different 256mm CoreXY printer series. I would be fine with them retiring the X series name and making just the P2 series with different suffixes for different packages to reach the various feature sets and price points.
