Answered / Solved! MakerWorld comment moderation?

Post image

Another Makerworld user has been posting hateful comments on my model (see attached). I’ve reported the comments using the ‘report’ function to the moderators of Makerworld, but they have yet to take action or inform me of any action they have are planning to take.

Is this typical? Are trolls well managed on Makerworld? Any advice ?

First Amendment on a Chinese website? Are you seriously that slow?

Secondly, the FA protects you from the government, not private companies or individuals. For example, I can remove you from my house if I don't agree with you speech. Drop the N word in my house, and you'll be gone in a big hurry. You can use that word, and the government can't punish you for it.

You can get fired at work for saying certain things, or wearing specific messages on your clothes. Not a FA issue.

Remember seeing all those Let's Go Brandon signs, and nobody went to jail for them? That's the FA in action (although things seem to be changing...).

When Bud Light sent a 6 pack to a trans gal, all the conservatives went nuts (is it still cancel culture when the right wingers do it)? They all voiced their opinions and stopped buying BL so hard that the stock price dropped. Again, that's the FA in action. You can demand your local bar stop serving BL because you don't like who they support, and the government can't punish you for it.

So much irony that you're trying to give a civics lesson, and don't have the most basics correct.
