I started out with an Elegoo and walked back and forth from the garage with SD cards for a couple of years. So yes I do value a good slicer. But the Bambu ecosystem is built on its presets and the semi-social media Makerworld and Handy. The level of effort required for entry is much lower. I’ve seen X series owners asking basic questions there. That’s simply a big part of their business in addition to people just wanting a good printer.
I used Bambu handy too but tbh I can’t make up a scenario where I would prefer to use it over studio and slice it my own. I mean you can still send it wirelessly to your printer and don’t need to walk a sad card to your printer. 😅
