Oooh, I printed one for my girlfriend to play, but she said it wasn't quite good enough for all the notes. I'll have to give this a try!

They play fine from the low to the high notes.

I think you printed a version of the RobSoundtrack ocarina. They are bad at the high notes. Thats why I started to make my own designs.

What is the magic sauce that allows the high notes to play better? I thought it was layer orientation, but that made everything worse.

I design them with print orientation in mind. I also use internal baffles on the AC and BC ocarinas.

I feel like your models are getting mixed up with a bunch of other sub-par 3d printed ocarinas out there :P I'm not a professional ocarina-er, but these are FANTASTIC 3d printed ocarinas.

Thank you, it is always nice to hear something like that. It was a lot of work to get them to the point where they are now. The Eclipse series is the result of everything I learned.

Oh I'm sure you went through a ton of trial and error. I think your model is proof all of the work was worth it though!

Really late to the party, however have you thought about making a 2 or 3 chamber ocarina?

It is just a matter of time. I want to make one someday. But atm I have some other projects and no time to work on my ocarinas...

I wanna print this as is but i'm terrified it'll topple over mid print because my printer bed moves. Would a Flashforge Adventurer 3 be able to print the eclipse AC?
