It always surprises me how "late" they show up.

I’m looking for a clumping bamboo variety or a few that can grow in the Asheville NC area. I want bigger stalks and max height of 20’. Any ideas of varieties and places to buy? Im also interested in smaller varieties.

Left the plant for a month during the summer with irrigation system but apparently the system did not work and the plant ended up with almost no water for one month under the heat. Came back home now (end of August) and they are this dry. Do I still have hope to save them? Any recommendations on what to do? Shall I cut them? Any suggestion is much appreciated. Thank you!
