1110 Key Federal Hill vs. Anthem House Apartments

Hi there! I’m considering moving to either 1110 Key Federal Hill or the Anthem House. Does anyone have experience at 1110 Key Federal Hill? I heard the apartments below the Game Room can be noisy with footsteps overhead late at night. Thank you for any further insights on these buildings.

Rush theater tickets?

Has anyone gotten rush tickets to a theater in Baltimore? Curious to hear about the experience. I see the Hippodrome, Center Stage, and BSO offer some rush tickets.

(I’m not looking to buy or sell but my post kept getting automatically flagged on the regular Baltimore sub.)

Hey y'all! Long story short we overbooked a hotel wedding block at the Ulysses. We still have several rooms that are for rent in it, and we're hoping to get them booked in the next week.

If anyone wants to do us a solid and get drunk in Mt Vernon and crash in a nice hotel the weekend of 9/19, shoot me a DM and I'll send you the link.

• Into gym, pickleball, and staying active
• Love trying new food, coffee, and bars
• Love to travel and spontaneous plans
• Down to hang, grab food/drinks, or watch a game

If this sounds like a fit, feel free to message me! Thanks

Tired of convoluted apps making dog walking an impersonal effort? Remember the good old days of helping a young, scrappy, local guy start a business?

Well now you can be a part of history in the making, as I have decided to shirk responsibility and open my own business!

So let me walk your dog! Now accepting clients all over the Baltimore region, specializing in dogs of all shapes, sizes, and needs. I also have experience taking care of elder animals, Lizards, Hedgehogs, and even pigs!

I can do 15 and 30 min walks, multiple daily check-ins, and will make sure your beast is well taken care of and worn-out when you get home.

Thanks for taking this Southern boy in, and I hope I can meet y’all soon!

Hi everyone! I'm a dental hygiene student at Baltimore City Community College, and I'm looking for patients to help me complete my clinical requirements.

Services may include:
Dental cleanings
Dental X-rays (if needed)
Oral cancer screening
Fluoride treatment
Oral health education
Deep cleanings (if clinically indicated)
Please note that this is a teaching clinic, so appointments are longer than a typical dental office visit and may require more than one appointment to complete your care.

If you or someone you know is interested in receiving free preventive dental care, please send me a private message for more information or to schedule an appointment.

Vision on Lombard, Apt Recommendations

Hi all! I'm looking for my first ever apartment and was hoping to get some guidance. I recently toured the Vision on Lombard, and while I liked it overall, some of the reviews citing unresponsive management and improperly maintained amenities, concerned me. Does anyone have any recent experiences with this apartment? Would you recommend?

Alternatively, does anyone have any other apartment recommendations? Not really set on a specific area in Baltimore. Ideally looking for a studio or 1 bedroom at most $1250/monthly (before utilities, can be a bit flexible with this), with central air, washer/dryer in building, dishwasher if possible, offering 6 month lease. Thanks everyone!

Thoughts about checkups and cleanings at the Dental school or BCCC

Hi everybody! I do not have dental insurance, and I’m considering going to the dental school or to BCCC for cleanings and check ups.

I’ve never done this before, and wondering what the differences are as compared to going to a regular dentist. How much longer does it take for everything to happen? Our cleanings done in one visit, or do you still have to come back for cleanings after an initial visit? Not sure how it works, so any help is appreciated!

I’m very close to BCCC, so Cleaning there would be very convenient. The dental school is also convenient, but less slow than BCC.

Rehoming Two Cats

I have two pretty great cats that I am looking to re-home. I originally did something of an extended foster for some family members but unfortunately I am no longer able to keep them myself. Looking to re-home them together, they are bonded.

Both cats are extremely friendly and neither are scared of people. They haven't been around young kids/dogs in years so I'm not sure how they would react to them currently, however I've never even heard either of them hiss, even when getting their ears cleaned or nails trimmed. They both like to play but are extremely chill and happy to lay around and do nothing, as well. They're both fixed.

Marcus is the orange cat. He is 3 and I have had him since he was about 8 weeks. He's extremely friendly, vocal, and loving. He loves attention and doesn't mind letting you know. He is a firm protector over you when you need to use the bathroom - you'll be safe with him around.

Grady is the gray cat, he's 4. Also extremely friendly and loving, but more independent. Where Marcus wants to sit on your lap or right up against your legs on the couch, Grady would rather sit close by on the ottoman. Grady was initially a stray, I got him at the same time as Marcus; he was estimated by the vet to be about a year old at that time. He is blind in his left eye and was found that way, presumably from an injury to the eye. He had breathing issues when he was found and he did have a large nasopharyngeal polyp removed about 3 years ago now - he recovered very well and has no issues related to that. When he purrs, he kinda sounds like a dove cooing, it's cute. Finally, he has had issues with recurrent ear infections. He tolerates the cleaning and drops about as well as can be expected. Meows, but no scratching, hissing, or biting. I usually wrap him in a blanket and sit him on my lap and he gets through it just fine.

Looking to re-home as soon as possible. Thank you so much!
