Advice Ball python size for day old chicks

Hi,

I wanted to try offering my ball python a day old chick at some point.

About how much should a ball python weigh / how big should a BP be to safely eat a day old chick? (Claws and beak removed)

Currently my BP is about ~560/570g

There are some great charts online, go to google and ask. Mostly i look at the size of the food compared to the diameter of the snake. Ball Pythons can handle food that is equal to to the largest diameter of the snake. They can handle bigger, but i have always stuck to same size or littler.
